
Located in a beautiful setting against a backdrop of mountains, the inland Spanish village of Rojales is surrounded by orange and lemon groves in this popular area of the Costa Blanca, Spain. Along this beautiful area of coast, there are over 20 blue flag beaches with the European award for cleanliness for which Spain is renowned. Locally within walking distance, you will find an excellent choice for shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, cafes, bars and entertainment.

Guardamar Del Segura is just one of the many beaches to choose from and is just a ten minute drive away. It boasts a long stretch of beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. There are Spanish and English beach bars and restaurants along the front with children’s play areas and lifeguards; it also has a lot to offer for the sports enthusiast with beach and water sports available.

Torrevieja as a city dates back to the early 18th century, it was built around one of the many watchtowers, built by the Moors, that flank the Costa Blanca coastline, this watchtower was in such poor condition that it came to be called “The Old Tower” (La Torre Vieja) and hence from this the village took its name. Torrevieja has two water parks, the fun-filled Aquopolis Parque Acuatico and Parque de las Naciones (Park of the Nations). For relaxed indoor entertainment there is an 8 screen multiplex cinema venue with a 16 lane bowling alley close by, and all this within walking distance of the area’s two main commercial shopping centres - Habaneras and the very popular Hypermarket Carrefour.

The Costa Blanca area has so many facilities on offer to the holidaymaker in Spain. If you do not wish to lay in the sun and golf is your passion you will be spoilt for choice. There are park and nature walks, suitable for walking and cycling or maybe you prefer to scuba dive to see the great under water scenes in the crystal clear waters of Spain’s Mediterranean Sea. Fishing, tennis, amusement parks, go- karts and aqua parks are all here for your enjoyment. If you love shopping there are typical Spanish local markets and large shopping centers to explore or if you prefer, travel to inland Spain, into the mountains, discover the local villages, hamlets, and cave houses to see the traditional Spanish way of life.
During the summer months, the Moors and Christians festivals are held in the local villages all along the Costa Blanca. The carnival atmosphere is very colorful with typical Spanish flamenco dancing, spectacular fireworks shows, offering wine and paella through to the early hours of the morning; everyone is made welcome to join in with the festivities. Every Spanish village along the Costa Blanca has its own special recipe for Paella, which it claims to be the best in Spain.
